At Prairie Melody we like birds (and bees). IMHO, squirrels are overly clever rodents. Thanks to our friends at Wild Birds and More I think I have finally found a baffle that neither squirrels nor raccoons can defeat. This Witch's Hat baffle hangs using an old lanyard which allows the suet feeder to be tucked up tight under the baffle. Woodpeckers and nuthatch have been able to fly up from below to feed. Guesses on what the dark dot is below the red carabiner? 😁 🐿💩 as the little bugger slides off!
